Julie Bedster is the Administrator for the Institute of Health and Wellbeing, the Institute for Public Safety Crime and Justice and the Institute for Social Innovation and Impact, promoting a closer working relationship between the 3 research Institutes.
After graduating, Julie worked for the London Borough of Enfield in the Housing Benefit Sector and then in social housing at the London Headquarters of the Housing Corporation; a non-departmental public body that funded new affordable housing and regulated housing associations in England.
Julie joined the University of Northampton in 2001, working for 4 years in Central Admissions, before moving to the School of Education where she supported courses for teaching assistants and primary school teachers wishing to specialise in Mathematics, English or Computing. During this time, Julie gained substantial knowledge of the education sector.
Julie has a professional attitude and good organisational and time-management skills along with a wider knowledge of University systems and procedures.
